Ok So to get this started, I just set 70 eggs this morning. But due to a loss of 40 eggs that were incubating I am doing one last hatch. I plan to set my eggs on the 27th. Breed and #'s tbd. SO, pull up a chair, enjoy yourselves, and hatch along with me!

10/18 set:

70 eggs total

50 mixed mutt eggs.

17 locally obtained RIR's

2 bantam eggs

1 turkey egg (bbb fertility re-check)

Set in GQF Sportsman Incubator

10/26 set:

88 eggs total

58 assorted mutt eggs

24 rir

2 bantam

4 turkey

Sounds like you have a lot of chicklets on the way =)  I'm not even sure where I belong in regard to hatching threads.  Mine are due 10/22, 10/23, 10/24 and 10/27 (approximately) and the other two clutches just hatched out yesterday and the day prior.  Sooo...don't know where I go for the others :) lol  Either way -- good luck with your hatchings and I hope you get a great group of people!

The kids getting into the coolerbator has just given me more reason to get to work on the new incubator which btw already has a lock on the door :)

I'm up....

I just started 12 Marans eggies last night.   I got a little giant and a turner on Craigslist..  I also added a computer fan

i had a hard time telling which was the pointy end of the eggs... hope I got it right,  I found it was easier to tell

by feeling the eggs than looking..
