Thank you runaway! We made out Really well, some tree limbs down on the electric fence, but easily remedied and no beasties escaped in the down time. No power here, enough propane for 4 days. We are very lucky.

Hopefully i will get a few chicks.

Shouldnt have bought them now the worst week as i have a hatch next Monday and a lockdown  that day too.

Have 2 bators so that would work. Now i have these other eggs in day 1-18 mode.GUH.

well just on day 5; I did candle a couple last night, mostly just seeing yolk shadows. thought one was pulsing but it could have just been the flashlight I was using ;-) Temps have been running 98-101; trying to get that stabilized. Will candle again this weekend and hope I can see something. Sniffed the cracked one; no odor yet.

You can use rocks sterilized in the oven, or sealed ball jars of water to help your temps stablize

I know this sounds crazy but i thought my room was draft free and didnt think i needed this but my temp fluxuated too so put my bator in the closet as someone here said they did and it made the biggest difference.
