Boy. Those look like saddle feathers to me.

Definitely boy without a shadow of a doubt. Hope that's what you wanted to hear. smile.png

Head Nurse at one of the largest Veterinary hospitals in the UK. Mum to 2 horses, 1 Bullmastiff dog, 3 cats, 1 Goldtop, 1 BCM, 2 Araucanas, 4 RSL, 1 BSL, 1 Delaware, 1 wheaten Marans, 2 Cream Legbars, 9 Silver Spangled Apenzellers, 1 Sablepoot, 1 D'Uccle, eggs in the bator, lots of Koi carp and various waifs and strays that come and stay a while

110% cockerel due to the saddle and hackle feathers they are long slender and pointed and cockerels ate the only ones that get saddles and hackles that shape not to mention his two toned coloring

That is for sure a roo/cockerel.

3 Sex Links, 1 New Hampshire Red, 1 Ancona, 2 Crele Leghorns, 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes, 1 Araucana, 1 Ameraucana, and 2 EEs. Plus the dogs, horses, parrots, and turtles. I hope that's it for now.

 

Waiting.... can't wait any longer...... for my Pullets to start laying!

Absolutely a cockerel.  See the pointy saddle feathers at the base of the tail hanging down the sides of the body.  Only males get those feathers.

I have 2 cats, 1 Golden Retriever, 2 gold fish, and now 13 chickens. :)

Tough Cookie (T.C.) Cleo, at 6 weeks old, died in April 2012. Kanaliha Cleo, at 9 weeks old, died on May 14, 2013. They are greatly missed.
