I was got  lucky and the drywall is now taped and primed. Nothing more for several weeks as 8 grandkids are coming this week and the local club I belong to is having its poultry show the Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving. I will hit it hard after that. Still have to finish the rest of the electrical too. Waterproof wall panels to put up also. Then I can start on cages and pens.

Looks very nice Craig!  You have made great progress even with your set backs with the inspections.

I am a cochin lover! I love their fluffy butts and feathered feet! They are the sweetest of all chickens.  I have mottled, columbian and buff columbian. I have mostley bantam but do have large fowl for the eggs.

I did not get final building inspection done until Tuesday this week. After that was done I started to put together the 8 pens . All pens will be 6' wide and about 7 feet tall.  4 pens will be 5 x 6 and 4 pens will be 7 x 6. Each pen has plywood up 18" to prevent fights through the fence It will also be used to mount the little low pressure waterers to. When these get done I will start on the individual bird cages. Back issues have slowed me down  but I am making progress. Hope to be done before Christmas.

Very nice man!
How much is this project going to cost?
I am thinking of doing something similar.

Thanks for the food for thought!
Mike.

It's going to be awesome when it's finished!

It's not because you are a newbie. LOL

Not sure what causes that. I have had it happen to me before too.
