hatch day :)) 10/30/2012 - Page 2

This is my first time too. I thought about getting some eggs from my parents' mixed flock to add to my purchased ones, but they don't have any roosters right now--a minor setback wink.png

Mine were peeping at about midnight last night, and then my one hatched at 12:30 today, but I don't know what's normal.

Our chickens: Ivy (blue marans), Eneggma & Chickpea (cinnamon queen crosses), Scratch&Lacy&Marble (Delawares)

Most likely eggs in the incubator at any given time...we've hatched/are hatching mixed breed ducks and red-golden pheasants.

Plus three kids, a dog, two cats, parakeets, and geckos. A nice full house :)

I was just looking up the same question about peeping to pipping, just a little worried that I've only seen the one. This one looks the most useful:

Time to get out a crochet project or something, I think...
