I have a CL × SLW cross... no pics though. I will get some later

Hey LilJoe- what is an SLW ?? And is that a CLB roo? He looks so different than mine...
Yours is much meatier looking and color is different and the tail feathers too. So interesting.

I tried to get some pics today but they were so damn fast, and my kids had friends over so.....it was a bit hectic in the barn! LOL
Got one family photo. Here are the chicks (well, most of them) with their surrogate mom Feather Face. (approx. 2.5 weeks old.)

@Minky SLW means Silver Laced Wyndotte, and CLB is Cream Legbar. Mine have crests, so I call mine CCLB.

Cute chicks!

Yes, which Is weird. From what I read, the cockerel was supposed to be the same color as the pullet. :idunno
'Least he's pretty! ;)

You might have stumbled across either a sex-link or another auto-sexing with that match. You could hatch more from those 2 parents and see if your results are the same. Also, it would be interesting to see if those 2 chicks could grow up and produce the same.

Is gold roo over silver hen not an auto sexing combo? I know nothing about genetics but I recal reading someones post about that somewhere? I think the cream legbar counts as gold, and SLW as silver.
