Water freeze

I live in alaska and my water keeps freezing but I have a heat lamp on it. Anything?

I live in Alabama and don't know if I can even fathom your temps, but I made a water heater that works great!  I will see if I can find a link.

An aquarium water heater perhaps?

No worries- I have to say water freezing is a problem I never have here!  lol

(Though it did get to -4 C one morning  a few years ago- a bit of ice on the stock trough)

Your lucky! Where do you live?

The " cold and wet"  part of Australia - down in the south east.

Lowest temperature I have ever recorded was -4 C   , and the highest ever was + 47 C - on Black Saturday.

(Sorry but i dont remember Fahreheit temps)

Wow, Austraila. How many chickens do have? What are there names? Also what are the breeds?

About 60 at the moment. I have Aruacana, Barred Plymouth Rock, Bantam White Leghorns,  and some layers that are mainly Isa Brown crosses.

I never give my chooks names!

60,really. I have 6 chcikens. I also have two aracunas their names are Abby and Melody ,one barred rock Rosiy,one pearl white leghorn Tulip,one rhode island red Ginger, and one brown leghorn Dorthy. The picture one the left is Tulip.
