Received eggs from chick-among-us today. One day from Texas to Michigan, not bad for the usps! Claimed 12 and she sent 15 very nice eggs. Wrapped perfectly, none were broken. Thank you!

Lockdown today!

 

Eggs from Papabrooder: 6+ hens choice

sent:

1 MF leghorn (I dropped it, while unpacking)

5 LC Orps - 1 clear, 1 blood ring, 1 late quitter. 2 still going!

2 Rhodebar - both still looking good

 

Eggs from swindledana:

2 x 6 Hen's choice

sent:

2 CCL - PO broke one, other one looking good

3 Jersey Giants - all scrambled

2 Blue Copper Marans - 1 weepy, 1 scrambled

2 Splash Marans - one weepy, one scrambled

2 Black Birchens - one blood ring, one still going?

 

Between the PO's handling and the super cold temps we had just while these were shipped, I think I'm luck to have any growing.  I think they all probably got super cold.

Just candled my 6 from Profti and ALL are developing!!!! woot.gif

Also candled Ams from DMRippy and all but two lavs are developing but all four of the wheaten/blues are developing!!!! yesss.gif

For those of you stalking my friend DeAnnas Spitzhaubens, 8 of 9 are developing two of which are her citron project!!!! wee.gif

Lots of craziness in the Lagniappe Farms bator!!!

Eggs received this week from cjwaldon and CelticOaks.  Both boxes were abused by the PO, but the eggs were packaged beautifully.  I will add to the spreadsheet as well  Thank you ladies :)

Jules/Julie - Cowgirl turned Crazy Chicken Corraller. Broody Mama. Keeper of horses, cattle, dogs & cats + 1 great hubby. Plus waaay too many birds.

Of a dozen German New Hampshires from 202roosterlane, four were clear. Eight showed development. Since I'm not a good candler, if it's not weepy it goes to lockdown...eight went. Total hatch 1/12.
Meg and Chris, plus mastiffs Murphy, Jake and Reilly, and Great Dane Levi. Orpingtons, Welsummers, Ameraucanas, Barnevelders, Rosecomb Brown Leghorns, Cuckoo Marans, and a few turkeys, along with NZW rabbits, summer lambs or calves, and who knows what else.
