4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch / December online hatching egg swap

Here is picture of the new home built for them. I tried hard to decorate it for them, they could care less!

All 6 of them look the exact same so far, all around the same size too. 1 is a touch smaller. A neighbor stopped by and said I had all girls, I asked him how he knew, he said males have white markings on the cheeks. If that's true then they are all girls.
They love to dust bath, wow, they are a totally different color now, smoke grey from the D.E. in the dust bath.

I would have to see the chests on them to tell if any are Pharoh. The Pharohs you can sex at about 2 weeks old. The hens will have speckled chests, roos will have solid cream colored chests. Cheeks have no bearing on gender. I had wild type hens, jumbo Pharoh roos & a cinnamon/red roo. Sounds like you probably got all wild coloring in your batch if they are all the same. Those really can't be sexed until they are 4 weeks or older. The little roos will crow (sounds like a lazer zap from a video game) and begin to get a pocket of foam (sperm) under their vent that will bubble out when you press on it. The little hens will begin to lay eggs around 6 weeks old. They mature REALLY fast compared to chickens & ducks.

Thought I would give an update on my December egg swap.
