we are getting ready to slaughter our turkey are they ok to eat if still on medicated feed (turkey grower finsher)

I would ask yourself why you think you need medicated feeds. It can be hard to find starter without it, which is unfortunate. I go out of my way to make sure feeds are not medicated, and have very few problems. I have only had one adult bird get sick and have serious troubles. All of my other mortality has been in the first couple of days, when medicated feed makes no difference because the turkeys never started. IMO, the only time to use medicated feed is if you are raising a lot of birds in confinement together. If you give your birds plenty of room and plenty of air, you should not need medication.

Sorry for the soapbox lecture.

BTW, I also don't believe in marbles in the water or starting turkeys with chicks. I do put rocks in the water so the very young poults can't fall in and get wet.
