This year we are starting a new tradition. Every day we read a Christmas book, watch a Christmas show/movie, read a related Bible verse, and do a winter-related activity. Today we made gingerbread houses! This is mine.




Wait, what's that in the back?


It's a chicken coop and chicken!



It doesn't look too bad, does it? The comb and wattles keep falling off and the body is sorta misshaped, but at least it looks somewhat like a Buff Orpington (our family's favorite breed).

I love gingerbread houses and yours looks very attractive. i like the idea of having a chicken coop and chicken. Those gingerbread biscuits that people make ane ice to put on the Christmas tree are great as well. If you had a chicken biscuit cutter you could theme the whole tree around chickens.
