Carolyn,

Thanks so much for the update! 2 hens per household. Not so bad because if you just need them for eggs, two production types are good enough but we'll see what we can work around...

Thanks. Am kinda confused by your comment, "...but we'll see what we can work around..."
Not sure what I'm to infer from that. (Who's the "we"? and what are the possibilities to be worked around?

Also, I know that it's very early in the day, but so far I've only gotten one reply to my posting (and that was yours.) I'm wondering if it would have been better if I had posted it as a whole new topic instead of a reply to an older post's long thread. Should I ask the admins to bump it up to a more visible spot do you think?

i live in amesbury mass and don't have a huge yard. i really want chickens, had them as a child, and i would love for my children to experience chickens, as well as the tastiest and most nutrious eggs! do others have them in amesbury? what's the law and must we go by it? i know of some small yards with chickens, but not sure if it's legal. i don't want ot get anyone in trouble! my husband said when he finds out that it's legal for us to have a couple he'll build a coop with me!

sulaiman, you need to start your own thread so yours doesn't get lost within this one.

We can't move one post out of a thread, or I would start a new thread for you.

Hello,

I just wanted to confirm if the 2 hen per household applies to more than just one location? I am a but confused myself while reading over it. Thanks...

- Tommy

Tommy, you need to start your own thread addressing the specific ordinances and regulations for your area.

Thrifty Chicken,

How are you? Yes...I have my own thread and I follow it carefully to keep things posted with the LOCAL Laws...

The question I asked a couple posts back was in general...in which could pertain to every city or state...
It was for something I didn't quite understand.

Thanks

- Tommy
