I don't remember if I mentioned it here, but I'm thinking I didn't... Anyway, when Frou-Frou passed away, my dad bought a rose bush for her and planted it by her grave. Well, to my surprise, it already has a bloom opening up on it! Just a little something to make me smile.
Her grave marker, which I'm also thinking I didn't post? It's one of those footprint stepping stone kits with her feet in it.
Along with the rose bush (which is directly behind where she was buried), I'm thinking of getting some annual flowers and flowering bushes to put around her as a memorial garden. I'm no gardener, but at least I can make it look kinda pretty.
Also, Crash duck says hi.
Thats a beautiful thing for her, and all part of the closure for you.
Crash looks all grown up!
How late are the eggs, I wait 5 full days past hatch date unless I smell odors to remove unhatched eggs.
i saw a tiny something moving in the poop. Unless she happened to poop on a bug, it's worms. This is a good thing, right? (Meaning it's treatable.)
The poultry wormer I have on hand is "Strike III, Hygromycin B Medicated Feed" It's a pellet to add to the feed to de-worm the whole flock. Should I start there? Is there another product I can give for more immediate relief for Cuddles? (She's not been eating pellets since appetite is off. Only yogurt & tiny bit of egg.)
Would worms cause the yellow poop or could she also have another type of infection besides?
Not sure, but that definitely answers whats happening! This is treatable for sure. I use either valbazen or Ivermectin pour on (its for cattle actually) for deworming. Rotate annually to help prevent parisites becoming resistant. Have noticed lately Valbazen is harder to find. Looks like tapeworm.
