I'll second @ellymayRans; if there's anything you think I can do, let me know. I know times are tough (for everyone). I can't buy anything right now, but I could foster some of the lighter-weight eaters for awhile and/or help find homes for some. I know the Sumatra (and the Sumatra mix) have been really good here. The birchen boy has been courting my CX hens, so I might even get to see some day if a Sumatra/CX mix is as studly a bowling ball as a CX could ever possibly be (the EE/Sumatra mix at @jchny2000's is LOVELY). By all means, if you can find buyers for them, that's great (really!), but if you think you may get into it again or just want to find a good home for some of them (and reduce your feed bill), I can take a few in.
BTW, is the temperament of the Sumatras going to get nasty come spring, and should I build pens for these boys, just in case?
