Serama chicks - 7 weeks old

Serama chicks hatched on New Year's Day and a few more on Jan 5th. I incubated these eggs to test fertility and wasn't sure what to expect with this new pairing. I was surprised with 100% fertility, so I hatched more than I really wanted. I will sell some of them.

Seramas are very, very small chickens (usually less than a pound). They come in a wide variety of colors and are very friendly and easy to tame. They were originally developed in Malaysia and then imported to the US and further developed into the American Serama.

There is a lot of good info about them on the American Serama Association website and other breed clubs.

Do you still have chicks? If so where in thurston county? and what price per chick or per X amount...
I have had bad hatch rates and will be down in the Tenino area next Thursday. Would love to be able to buy a few chicks to go with my baby that is 2 weeks old. It's a loner. Me and my mother are also looking for more pullets to add to both our flocks i prefer to raise them from babies. :D

I'm in the Olympia area. I have some, but I'd kind of decided that I would grow them out before selling them. They aren't sexed.

What kind of lone chick do you have? You realize that Seramas are tiny, right? Your post gives me the impression that you want them to add to your laying flock...

I do want them for my laying flock. I currently am getting tiny eggs with my flock i have now. I mean yeah I want to eventually get some large egg layers.
The lone chick looks to be a marran mix. I thought first it was a barred rock but the pattern is more like a marran.
I was hoping to find someone local to get one or two chicks from to put with it. But if they are way tinier it may not work out. But right now the chick is hanging out on the dog bed with the dogs, so I wont stress. Although if you end up with one or two pullets that nobody wants let me know :D I love having different kinds of hens with different looks. Mine in my back yard are pets, each has a name and knows it's name. Most of my hens even know what "no" means, and "go home" Home is their coop.
