Bernie will hit the sack soon so no more updates unless he sleeps on the bator and needs to get up to pee.

9 out

A Golden Sebright banty and a second bbs orp joined the world as immigrants.

6 hours into day 20.

if we dont get some plymouth rock and rhode island reds zipping soon i will get concerned. they started pipping 12 hrs ago. still new ones are pipping so its certainly not over in those baskets. lavender and buff orps, as well as australorps marans and seramas are no shows so far.

Here's hoping Bernie has a small bladder, and lets us know what happened!  H

Have a good Fathers Day all you guys!

Scott

I was thinking Australorps, but mine were not all black, they had some white in the chests. And, that one is taken by Pig anyway.

Sounds like it's all action, wish I was there to enjoy the megabator eggsperience!

I'm going to say Black Sexlinks, but it's early and I haven't had my coffee yet so that may change after another cup or two.

Happy Fathers Day!

It is ONLY day 20!!! so LOTS of time.

my current hatch happened over 3 days, legbars early, New hampshires on time, Marans (huge eggs) a day late and 12+ hours after pipping. Really big eggs seem to hatch on day 21 or later. Marans are known to be "late" hatchers.

Slightly surprised the banties and seramas have not made an appearance yet.
