Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

Looks so clean, I can picture myself riding down there one day on a scooter!
and this ladies and gents is why I love blues, how good looking is this guy!

Glad to hear the recent hatch did not totally bomb out mate and you still got a few from it.

Despite poverty and decrepit housing, the Philippines takes pride in keeping their small towns tidy.

I live the blues as well. The Jersey giants and British orps are spectacular

He's awesome Oz :) yay!
He has two girls with him. Somehow a brown hen with white ears ended up in there so I am going to have to pull her.

I am really falling for the Mediterranean breeds. The Brown and Red leghorns are also gorgeous.

I am determine to get the Euskal Oiloa, Penedesencas, Pitas, Empordanesa and Anconas up and running as well as Sally's WFS

I dont think there is a market to sell them in the Phils but they are great to have wondering around.

They are great heat tolerant chickens that lay lots of eggs.

Very cool ...I was goin on the lookout for anaconas for the blue egg...my CLs didn't do well with the larger birds

Lacie and HFR - Scoobt Too says hi

Oh, isn't he a nice looking boy! Looks to have a gentleness to him... shows in his eyes.

If you get a female WFBS put her in the coop with him please!
I'm wondering what you would hope to accomplish with a cross like this? Blue white faced spanish?

That would be araucana (without tails) or ameracauna (if you want tails on them) or some people call the unrecognized varieties Easter Eggers or mutts.

If I am in a situation where I only have one WFS - I would try experimenting with a breed that is quite close

It would interesting to get a BlueWFS looking bird
