Day 21 humidity low

Just curious did you get your eggs to hatch Hstlwombat? I am dealing with similar problems...

No, I lost them all, no pips or anything. I opened them up, and they were dead. Actually, I hadn't yet discovered candling, and I didn't know that the majority were not even developing. HOWEVER, and I don't want to jinx this, I'm going into lockdown tomorrow with another set. I bought a Hoveabator LG still air (no fan), and an egg turner. It turned out that my humidity/thermometer was WAY off last time (Accucheck- and it's off this time, too). I bought a cheap little hygrometer , and calibrated it with salt. I'm using a basic thermometer that came with the incubator. I've been running it at about a 100 (supposed to be 101-102 with still air, but it crawls up too close to 104, and I don't want to risk it). I've kept humidity at 35-40 percent. Raising it tomorrow. This time, I can adjust the temp from the outside, and can add water thru the vent hole (didn't have vent holes before). 10 eggs are full of chick- if all alive, I don't know- but I'm keeping them all in, just in case. Sooo sorry that I didn't answer this sooner- I didn't see this until I was searching for humidity stuff on here. I hope that everything worked out for you.

What is the humidity level supposed to be up until hatching? The papers with my circulated air bator said 60% until lockdown, then 65%. Initially humidity held at 60% for hours til I put the eggs in, went to 70%. Does it need to be lower than 60 til lockdown?
