Our 8 month old Dorkling has had a respiratory infection for over 6 weeks. We have isolated her from the flock. No other chickens are sick. She has been to the vet twice and has been treated with two different antibiotics. She is eating, but losing weight. We have put a mint steam by her cage, give her plenty of fresh veggies, plain yogurt,
worms, ACV in her water, vits, and even a B-12 injection. There are times her breathing is very labored. She has swollen glands on both side of her face...I've attached a photo. The glands are so swollen she cannot breath through her nose so always has her beak open. We have been nursing this girl non - stop and are doing everything we can think of to save her. The vet didn't give us much hope, but after 6 weeks you'd think she would either die or get better. Please, any suggestions or ideas on what to do, or what is wrong with her would be so appreciated. Thank you
