Lets see now.... I was born.... yes, I do believe that happened... and um, grew up in Southern California where we had no shoes and had to walk 10 miles to school in 3 feet of snow...... (I actually believed that when my mother said it when I was a child, talk about gullible!) Dogs I've had: We had a Rough Collie from when I was about 2 till about 17 years of age. Took about 4 years to convince my mother to let me have another dog, I chose a Keeshond. She was super smart, too smart, too dang smart! Man and an alpha dog. My mother and sister let her control them, but she was sweet, and I wouldn't let her get away with anything, LOL. She could open regular doors with her mouth, all our door knobs were dented from her teeth! I loved her, she died of very old age. Took her with me into my marriage and got a papillon who out-lived the keeshond, then, after the keeshond died, we adopted an older shih tzu from an elderly couple who had to move to a home. Poor dog was not well, spent over $1400 in vet bills, but ultimately, I just don't think he adjusted to our young family well, and he passed away within a year. That happened to my grandfather's dog when he moved to America. He was going to put it down, but the neighbors convinced him not to, that they'd take him in, but the dog died of a broken heart within a year as well. My grandfather knew that would happen, hence he thought putting him down would have been kinder.

Now we have a pound puppy chihuahua, who is the sweetest dog ever! Lives to please, wow, never had such an obedient sweet gentle dog before! When I went to the pound, I asked to see him, and sat on the floor, he came over and cuddled right into my lap! How can you say no! LOL Best dog ever!

Ok, that's part one of my life. I should entitle it "it's a dog's life" No?

Ah, so it starts again. I have chicken chores and a house to clean today. Many are hatching for the first, but I am counting down to get my incubator...
