Kat twisted and turned through out the night, cold, and uncofortable.

Strangely, the wall right next to her bed began to radiate heat.  It started mildly, with the warmth being barely noticable, but it slowly intensified to the point where the atmosphere in Kat's entire area of her room was at a comfortably warm temperature.  The cause of all of this was Jessie, who was sleeping in the next room over.  She was unknowingly breathing small amounts of fire in her sleep and, since she was laying with her head pointed at the wall and her bed and Kat's bed were against opposite sides of that same wall, she was unintentionally making herself into a heater for Kat.  Since she was part dragon, everything in Jessie's room had been heavily fire-proofed so nothing would burn if something like this happened.  Still, her breath warmed the wall which in turn heated the air in Kat's room.  Jessie had sometimes bragged about how she would help people here cope with their new lives in her sleeep if she had to, and now she was doing just that without even knowing.
