Going into lock down with all eggs alive and moving. So excited for my chicks.

Help. I am day 2 of lock down and haven't seen anything How long until I have to admit defeat and cry for my eggs?

Oh my!!!!! How exciting!!!!! Obviously you just had to wait a little bit longer!!!! Keep us updated! The pictures are great!!! (I've never seen turkey chicks!) haha

3 left Saw one rocking and rolling last night so still hopeful with that one. The other two nothing

Wow I'm expecting some chicken chicks any day now like today or tomorrow congrats on ur turkey hatch hope all goes well in the others hatching and raise the lil Turks that is the first baby turkey I've ever seen really cool
I hope to incubate eggs in the future I'm glad to hear of your positive outcome.

Just an update. 2 eggs are no longer viable. Looks like one died before lockdown one looks like it was "shrink wrapped in the membrane. The last one has pipped but seems very week. Thanks to Sally sunshine for all the great info and links. Just wish I could have helped number 2 before he was shrink wrapped Already collecting turkey eggs to do it again. Wish I actually had a broody hen but she's just not interested. Lays her eggs all over the place.

I am wondering how a silkie would do hatching your eggies!!

7 Babies total, 5 yellow 2 black! we lost 1 upsidedown and 2 died in shell before I realised the shell was extremely thick and they couldnt externally pip.
So I assisted all 7 had a long day yesterday and last night, But what a routy bunch of chicks this morning!! YAY this is the best shot for now, till the go brooder happy!
GO HARMONY GO!!! YAYAYYA she didnt even get to SEE THEM YET! lol
