So I set like I think 20 chicken eggs. 0 hatched, but usually, if they dont hatch on the 21st day, then we leave them in for a little longer. Then here came the 28th, and something started hatching.... A DUCK?! So we had ducks, but we didnt think they were old enough to lay. So we watched the duck hatch, but it wasnt strong enough, do it didnt make it. That is how we discovered that we were getting duck eggs.
 
Worst hatch is the one i just had ....(except fo the 3 that i didnt get one chick)
This hatch i had 3 hatch .One gorgeous chick died over night and it had looked totally robust. after hatch.

The other 2 i had to assist both.
Both during pip their yolk leaked (some 1/2 a day or more before i helped) and both have spraddle leg (same bator as i have hatched 14 hatches in) same everything
.Never one spraddle leg. or maybe their feet are too big they look huge to me..
Neither wants to eat.
i am eye dropper feeding them Dont know if they will make it

So not one healthy chick
Had some from the same lady the week before same breed so probably same parents ...3 hatched one needed assist ..wing glued to shell..but . all 3 thrived.
Go figure.....shipped eggs.

Mine started last year in may and i had my whole incubator full of eggs. 20 bantams, 10 polish,1 duck and 1 Toulouse goose, and ten standard cochins. At the end all the didn't hatch. i was so angry!

bought incubator then got many quail eggs got up the next morning was thrilled they all hatched but looked closer all were deceased

had a hen seting on 25 eggs on about the 1 week a hen jumped in her nest and busted 5 then she was fighting with one and busted 3 the 17 hatched and had them on dirt they got a sick and all died.
