"I will repeat myself once again," she huffed. "I travel in a small nomadic herd with three other mares. We have not seen fresh water for several days until stumbling across a lush area at the edge of your territory with exactly what we have been looking for, and we have spoken with each other and decided we would like to settle the area in exchange for our services. All four of us are willing to produce offspring for your herd, as well as serve as allies, etcetera, etcetera, and etcetera." Dalyla appeared to be rather weary of repeating herself over and over, letting out a little bit of a yawn.
Vanner nodded, musing her offer over. He liked the idea of having more mares in his herd. "I would like to meet these other mares." He said calmly. "At the river. As soon as you get them."
Dalyla agreed, a feeling of relief filling her body. "They should be just a little outside of that area upon some unclaimed territory. I'll see you there." And with that, she turned and sped off in a canter. Once she could see the shimmer of water in the distance she began to cry out for her companions, who soon peeked out from over the sun-dashed horizon.
