52 Week Money Challenge. Who wants to join in? - Page 3

Will do it with my 10yo ds.He loves money. Will send the chart and a few dollars to my friend too. I think I will try doing it for 4 people, and start at $144(week 8) so we have $5,534 by 11/5/13. That will pay off the car or my student loan.

Just deposited my $2 for this week.

The obscure we understand eventually.
The obvious takes a little longer.

Well I put in $144 today.Started off at week 8 so I can shop or pay bills on 11/12/13.Hard part done, and next week I will do $36 increasing the previous amount deposited by $4 each week.I mailed the chart to my friend today too,and stapled $3 to it.Sure hope she does it.It still seems amazing that the little bit we put away each week adds up to so much.It seems painless compared to when I tried to save $20 a week!

Happy saving!

You can do it. Even if you don't have the $20.00 for the week, just put in what you can. Even if it's $2.00 or $3.00. Don't let the amount scare you away from the challenge. We are in this together til the end. We will push through the big dollar amounts anyway. Ok? At the end of the challenge it's all about saving. smile.png
