all the cochin are empty!! the serama she has 10 viable and 1 frizzle viable so thats ok there were 5 inferts as these were local eggs.... I am so disapointed in the cochin eggs  I am gonna give this incubating up at least shipped eggs, this is major disapointment for me, I soooo wanted these eggs to hatch. : (

hugs.gif Sorry Sally. I will be candeling Friday. I have a nice full bator. I have silkie, cochin, ameracuana, 1 welsummer, speckled sussex, marans and a few of my layers. They are another try at shipped eggs. It was very cold for shipping. Below freezing. One shipment I added a heater, one I did not. I am going to see how each order does with freezing temps.

I started candling last night, I have the penedesenca, welsummer and BCMS... sad.png
Its not looking good... First, its hard to see, second, I want these soooo bad to be good, I think I'm imagining things, after seeing almost a dozen I dont think are viable, I decide to quit... I put them all back in the bator, none of them smelled, it was only a week, what did I really know anyway????
I'll look again next sunday with a more discernable eye (and not with my heart
