Looking forward to seeing how your candling goes! I'm waiting on my first eggs myself right now. I got my Rouen duck eggs in today and I'm letting them sit for 24 hours then will put in the bator tomorrow afternoon! I'm so excited. 28 days seems forever. I also am expecting Americauna and RIR eggs this coming week!

all the cochin are empty!! the serama she has 10 viable and 1 frizzle viable so thats ok there were 5 inferts as these were local eggs.... I am so disapointed in the cochin eggs I am gonna give this incubating up at least shipped eggs, this is major disapointment for me, I soooo wanted these eggs to hatch. : (
Sorry Sally. I will be candeling Friday. I have a nice full bator. I have silkie, cochin, ameracuana, 1 welsummer, speckled sussex, marans and a few of my layers. They are another try at shipped eggs. It was very cold for shipping. Below freezing. One shipment I added a heater, one I did not. I am going to see how each order does with freezing temps.
