Lol...yep....I get a lot of "what the heck is that"......but surprisingly a lot of men know its a.Silkie.....Hehe.
Coco often rides in the carts child's seat of course.....with her diaper.....or I carry her under my arm. I had a pet purse.....but she likes a better view.
Its so funny in TSC when people are in the next isle and they hear a chicken talking back to me......lol

Living and working on a Zoo farm - 300 plus chickens, fancy pigeons, Sebbies geese, turkey, crested ducks, peafowl, ornamental pheasant and ducks, Black swans, Egyptian geese, African Crowned Cranes, Emu, fainting goats, mini zebu, mini horses,mini donkey, alpacas, llamas, horses, 5 Great Pyrenees and a cat.

Chickenzoo and Fishnet.....

 

I haven't laughed so much in ages, maybe I ought to take some of my girls out with me....!

 

Tell me Chickenzoo... does Coco go out "dressed up" ???

 

I once knew a guy who took his Macaw out in is car on a regular basis... it used to perch in the open top car while the guy was working in his office ....you would not accept a ride in the car as the bird messed everywhere....sickbyc.gif

Zoo is my mentor  with taking out her girls. I wanna be just like you!~!!!

Lol....lucky most people are pretty good about them. If they give ma a.crazy look...I just say theirs not much difference then a.chicken and a parrot except one can make breakfast...lol. They normally laugh and say I'm right. Most people are curious and never knew a.chicken could be so pet like. People accept Silkies because they are so unchicken like in a way. I call them.the cowgirls foo foo dog.
Coco only goes out in her diaper and hair.barette.....maybe her raincoat if really stormy.....but I'm not THAT crazy to dress her up and go out....that was just for fun. Lol

OK so we are all crazy!

 

My Silkie girls look like hobo's... always their top knots are red ( with the red earth here ) when they go out foraging .....until they get into their house and groom each other clean.

 

I do so love Coco... she is so cute! So I would love to see her in the raincoat.... do post if you get the chance...... I can well imagine her wearing one!

Sophie in her "Cop Costume" and Bird with his " Pumpkin on Rooster Back" are hilarious! Thank goodness that in all of the sad and wonderful posts here on BYC that there are those super images that will last a lifetime ...

 

Sophie and Maymay are losses to you both but having said that..... your girls are part of the history of this wonderful and sometimes sad site - thank you both for all that you have done and will do for our future here, laughter is as much a part of what we are about as all of the great information that you give to us all - bless you both!

oh my goodness I love this. I just got some seramas and plan to take them out with me. I lost my beloved girl Peep, she was aRIR. I was at a flea market and there was a guy with a parrot. So I was admiring his bird and told him I have a bird and took out my picture of Peep. He loved it. He understood that chickens can be pets too. I think chickens are the best pet birds. But I have never had an emu yet ! smile.png

I am wife to a wonderful Man, I have two great dogs who watches over all the other animals. I have 3 cats and I have 4 Ameraucanas and as of today I have 4 chicks and more on the way.
