Hatch along!!!! setting january 11-15!!! - Page 7

End of day 18 here...I haven't candled a whole lot, just a couple here and there so I guess it will be a surprise!

 

Trying not to disturb my broody Rowena toooo much, though she is such a sweet hen, she doesn't put up much of  a fuss.  Hoping she has a successful hatch and is a good mama!

 

Then I need her or one of the others to go broody again, because I REALLY want to hatch some Cream Legbars!

Wish I had a broody!  Sounds so much simpler than using an incubator!

Middle of day 20 here. 3 of four have wiggled today. Although I have not been home much today. I keep thinking I see pips and then realize it's just a bump or a pencil line. Argh!!! The lady who is hatching my other chicks had a OE hatch today and took a pic. Very cute little bugger. Trying to keep myself from hovering over the bator. IMPOSSIBLE. Texmel, I know what you mean. When I lived in town in Delaware some people from the neighborhood saw me hanging by one arm and a leg from a cherry tree in our yard sawing a dead branch off with an old wood saw. They crossed the street. (away from me.) I laughed out loud. So funny.

I set my eggs on the 12th but have been on another hatching thread. It's amazing how many people have already turned on their incubators!

Lockdown is today, 19 EE and OE eggs with 4 iffies. I just can't tell what's going on with those 4.

Moved everyone out of the turners and into the baskets!

 

 

 

 

 Saturday is SOOOO far away!

AHHHHHH I can't wait!!

Tell me about it! I keep having to remind myself that staring at it won't speed things up.

I have 2 pips!!!!! they're small pips but they're pips still waiting on signs of life from the other 3 eggs but its a good start
