It's just a soft shell maybe the hen had an off day. Once In a while I will get an egg that has no shell just the membraine. Kinda interesting

What I found strange was its like an egg inside an egg this is the third one

OK, what I THINK I see in the picture is a shell that looks like it was made of paper and a red yolk. Are you saying the red (which may not be showing its true color on my computer) is actually a hard shelled egg inside the paper shell?

She is young just started laying she was just giving to me about a month ago, the other strange thing is she lays the form the roost not in a nest
