Sponsored Post Chicken Math Strikes Again!

Will you be running the bantam wyandotte special anytime soon? I really want to change the date if possible. It's suppose to be really cold this week but nice next week.

I ordered the bantam special for delivery this week. I have had to make two changes to the order since then (small details). Ideal has been very responsive to my calls and they have taken care of my requests promptly and graciously. I cannot say enough about their customer service.
It is my first time ordering (enticed by the bantam special) but I will also be a forever customer. Fantastic first impression!

I called and had my replacement bantams reshipped. They will go out wed, possibly arriving thurs?? Thank you Ideal for your wonderful customer service

i buy during these specials and it works out helping me save . i do alot of breeding and find it benefits me when i have a good stock to pick out of. alot of my extra birds i sell to other people here in the virgin islands who want to get into raising bantams.

no!!! I might be tempted to order this and I live in Los Angeles county! Can't have too many running around in the backyard

I know this may be a silly question, but are the red broilers in the red broiler special any good as dual purpose? That is, would it be worthwhile to keep the hens as layers and use just the roos as meat birds?

I think it says on Ideal's website that the broilers are not a good choice for a productive brown egg layer.

from what I know, the broiler chicks you get are a hybrid of 2 different lines, kind of like a red or black sexlink. The broilers would get to heavy to breed naturally, if you kept some to breed, would either have to learn how to collect roosters and AI hens, or have a rooster of another breed and keep some broiler hens.
