Was out with 2 friends yesterday, wondering when I would be able to get more ammo took the joy out of the day.

even .22 ammo is low... and getting more expensive

On the bright side, when/if all this blows over, magazines, ammo, and the guns themselves will probably be dirt cheap.

As things stand right now, though, good luck finding ANY 9mm, 12 gauge, or .223. barnie.gif

I had to go an help a friend get 22lr ammo last week. We had to meet the truck at academy an fight what looked like a black Friday sale at walmart to get anything. Max was 150 rounds per person so it took both of us to get 300 rounds an that cost almost $50.

She needed the ammo though. Her pink AR-15 was hungry...

When things get back to normal I am going to get my stock up to around 10K rounds.

I remember 525 rounds of .22R selling for $7.00 back before 2008. And then there were 880 round cases of surplus 7.62 NATO selling for less that $90.00.

For now I'm reloading and avoiding the range.

Wideners.com is just down the road from me. I was lucky enough yesterday to find that they had some Alliant Power Pro Varmint powder in stock. It is good for most small to medium rifle loads. Time to reload some rifle ammo.

Well, I found out CCI is running 3 shifts a day. Making a Billion bullets a day. Why aren't they available to the public? I was told it's political, because they don't know what the new gun laws are gonna B. Does that make sense to anybody? What do gun laws have to do with the restriction of bullet sales?..... I was at Walmart & an older man was walking threw the ammo isle with his 2 little girls. He said " You see this girls, this is what communism looks like"  It really made me think back to the photo's in the history books I had in school (25 years ago) The photo's were of the people in the former Soviet Union standing in line in front of empty store shelf's .... I ended up finding & buying the last 4 boxes from 2 very small old fashion family owned corner stores(The last of the Mohicans )   I know finding one of those corner stores are rarer than finding a shelf full of ammo. Here's a trick, find a town that doesn't have a Walmart with in 30 miles of it, & you will find good old fashion family business still existing.  & don't forget about those little stores in October when the Corps. are gonna restock there shelf's Personally I'm done supporting corporations that dont give a darn about there customers. They don't even consider us customers. To them we are put in one category as consumers.   Sorry, didn't mean to start a political with this, but it is totally political!. All I'm saying is as a group united we "Consumers" are a powerful group that can make or brake Corporations  & the way they do business.... If we all refused to do business with the means of credit we can change the world. Only 3 percent of the Federal Reserves Credit that exists is as physical paper, federal reserve note.(not called money) Article 1 Section 10 of the constitution declares all money shall be minted from gold or silver. We are temporary stewart's of society.   It really is up to us to work together to create a better world for our kids to inherit.... Sorry if my post seems a bit like it jumps topic. I took 6 pages of thoughts & condensed them into 2 paragraphs  ............PEACE!
