Anyone buy ammunition online?

Panics always serve very well for the vendors. It's in their interest to spread the panic. Prices shoot through the roof, demand shoots through the roof, profits shoot through the roof.
The gun industry must be delighted with the current political situation in the US. They're making tens of millions of dollars, more likely hundreds of millions, more than they would have if the other party had won the election.
Well, I found out CCI is running 3 shifts a day. Making a Billion bullets a day.
A billion bullets a day is a LOT of money, especially when prices can be increased at the same time.

Well, I found out CCI is running 3 shifts a day. Making a Billion bullets a day. Why aren't they available to the public? I was told it's political, because they don't know what the new gun laws are gonna B. Does that make sense to anybody? What do gun laws have to do with the restriction of bullet sales?.....
Those billions are making it to the shelves. If you go to these stores when the truck comes in you will see that its a demand problem, not any restriction problem. People are meeting these trucks an buying everything they can. The stores are selling out in minutes. With the treats of revolt coming out of new york state, I dont see it changing any time soon.

I've got lucky twice in the last 10 days. I was able to snag 3 boxes (the limit

) of 100rd white box winchester 9mm at walmart twice in the last 2 weeks.
The trick is to get there before 8am. I drop my daughter off at kindergarten at 7:45 and head straight to walmart. I've been meeting the same few other people that are doing the same thing each morning, it's kind of funny. Nice older men that like to chat guns. I've managed to score 600rds of 9mm in 10 days, at $24.97 per box. I hope to get 300 more rounds next week. I need a friend to go with me so they can get 3 more boxes, ha! Too bad my husband has to go to work.

The people that work there say that it's all gone by 8am. I live in a small Texas panhandle town. They never know what or when they'll get in, but they do say the supply is starting to slowly trickle back in.

I was also able to buy 500rds of WB winchester .40cal through laxammo.com this past week. It's still available. We have plenty of the good carry type bullets, but no practice ammo! I'm trying to get stocked up.

It is STILL very hard to get ammo.My local store shelves are always empty of what I want.It is getting to the point where buying online and paying shipping is worth the expense IF the ammo could be found.

here is one website that I get both reloading supplies and loaded ammunition: www.midwayusa.com. I mostly reload my own ammo... it started out that I wanted to "save money" by reloading at half the cost, but it ends up that I go to the range and shoot twice as much and spend the same amount of money on 2 boxes of reloads that my buddies spend on 1 box of the factory stuff. There are some bullets that I can't reload, especially some of the premium hunting bullets, so I buy a box of the premium ammo that I am going to hunt with, and load a box (100 rounds) of the same weight bullet so I can sight in at the beginning of the hunting season. I've been reloading for about 15 years now, and I've saved $$$ by reloading instead of buying the factory stuff. If you shoot a lot, you may want to do some research about reloading.

i like your avatar "schmeadly" i ain't seen that cartoon in ages :)
