BOSS is the boss as far as my chickens are concerned! I sprout it along with barley, oats, and milo, and they occasionally get the dried mix as well. Sunflower seeds and sprouts are always the first to go!
We have never noticed a taste difference from anything they eat, and we give them EVERYTHING, even onions and garlic bits. Basically we throw all the compost bits into an old bathtub in their yard and they eat what they want.
