Well before spring arrives and I end up with mandarins and muscovy eggs, Should I start thinking of an incubator for the eggs and what type?

I'm not sure if it's like chicken eggs and that the eggs need to rotate.

yes they all need to be turned, mandarin eggs are 26-28 days , muscovies incubate for 35 days. from your question , I feel you may be a beginner soooo I would not recommend mandarins, as they can be difficult and are not really a duck for a beginner
