The Feathered Friends 4-H Poultry club in Bartholomew County, Columbus, Indiana will be holding Chick Days at Daily Feed & Grain on Feb. 9th. This is a fundraiser for the club, we will have several varieties of sexed brown egg layer pullets for sale that morning so if you are looking for a few pullets for your backyard but don't want to order them through the mail, or would like to get a jump start on commercial chickens for your fair, this is a great opportunity. Chicks hatched this early will be very competitive by 4-H Fair time! There is no minimum number to purchase and anyone and everyone is invited. 4-H members will be giving demonstrations throughout the morning on various aspects of poultry and will be available to answer questions. Feed and all the supplies you need to begin raising chicks will be for sale. Address is below:
