A boy and the Love for his GIRL

Thread Starter

I thought I'd share a sweet story about my little guy Luke.  He was in the paper yesterday.   You can see the article here

He just loves his little hen! And yesterday she laid an EGG on his lap! No joke! He was so thrilled!

Spring: Happily married 13 1/2 years
4 boys and another boy on the way.

5 hens and one rooster.  Luke our 3 year old is the chicken lover of the family!

Very nice!  Great to already be learning responsibility!  I bet that was really neat to get that egg!  Life isn't always pancakes and sunshine, but stuff like that is just great!

Home to chickens, cattle, horses, a mule, pygmy cross goats, blue and red heelers, cats, pigs, rabbits, ducks, turkeys, 1 male betta and oscar cichlid fish.

Totally cool!  In the newspaper, you can see the photo of the not-so-lucky rooster!  lol.png

So sweet!  Thanks for sharing :)

Whoever said don't count your chickens before they're hatched clearly never tried to count chickens after they're hatched.

That is just so precious!!!!! congrats on a good boy and good hen.  love.gif

I looked at all the caged animals in the barn...the cast-offs of human society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness, and betrayal. And I was angry."God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"God was silent for a moment, and then He spoke softly, "I have done something," he replied.  "I created you."
