They grow up so fast 
...I bought Leroy when my RIR hen was killed by a dog and my mother talk me into going to the local feed&seed to make me feel better...I knew he was a roo when I saw him but I knew if I didn't get him they would just cull him so in a paper bag he came home with me that day. He is very sweet and gentle..The other day some of ya'll that follow me know that I had to put down a dog trying to get into the chicken pen(ate half of my banny roo)...Well when I shot the dog Leroy cocks his head back and lets out a mighty crow which tickled me to no end because it was his first crow and it was what I call a victory crow lol...So yesterday I took my SLW & Dark Cornish out of the 'hen pen' and put Leroy & Joe(my red polish) in with the girls...They still haven't a clue as what to do but I figure by spring they'll know what roos supposed to do with hens.
