I did a thread about something similar to this but nobody is posting? again...it needs to be esey to say and it needs to be something that can be repeated over and over like (chick chick chick) but oveosly i'm not just going to name it chick so please help me find a name      P.S. there was a post but somebody sade peach not impressed. short and cute chicken name is what I need and is what I'm looking for

I like to name my chickens of a certain breed related names. For instance, my Speckled Sussex hens are all named after gemstones:

Ruby

Diamond

Emerald

Garnet

 

Or my Orpingtons after flowers:

Daisy

Petunia

Orchid

Violet

Snowbell

 

My Easter Eggers all have names I associate with storybook witches:

Hilda

Grizelda

Hazel

Esmerelda

Criskin and her chickens

I named all my girls after flowers:

 

Rose

Holly (hock)

Sunny (sunflower)

Violet

Lily

Mari (gold)

Iris

Fleur

Sylvia (Salvia) now we just call her Silly

 

My pullets that turned out to be boys:

 

Petunia turned into Hans

Daisy went to Duke

Telula (close to Tulip) went to Roger....LOL
