If your Silkies are good quality (read: super fluffy), the rooster could be having a hard time hitting the mark. If you aren't showing them, you could trim around their vents. Trim about an inch below the roosters vent and above the hens. If you are showing, your only option is AI (artificial insemination). There are some videos on Youtube that can show you how that's done.
If your Silkies have just started mating, it could also be that your boy is just uncoordinated. It takes them a little practice to do it right. Good luck
