Egg had membrane stuck to the outside...weird

I have found some unusual things in the nest box.  Soft shelled eggs, partially formed eggs joined together by membranous fiber thingy and  a teeny tiny perfect pullet egg but today I had a perfectly formed egg that looked like it had been tped with wet toilet paper which had subsequently dried.  I don't usually wash my eggs but this one needed it and When I rinsed it off,the "TP" t became soft and a little slimey like the internal membrane.  Anyone else ever have this?  The hen has been laying for only two months so maybe she is still working things out.

what do you think?

I had an egg just like that when my leghorn started laying, It was her very first egg. I think it happens when the pullets start laying and not everything is set internally. After that one egg, she has been laying perfect eggs (with the exception of a shelless one).
