Man of Steele that is!

While the hubby is not perturbed a few of the hens were jealous

Askew is not at all happy. And lets Steele know exactly what she thinks

And gives his wattle a good pinch

LucyLu gives me a stern lecture about my lack of morals

Then Askew remains on my lap to keep all hens away

LucyLu follows Steele and let him know what she thinks of the affair

He gives me on last look

And gets busy preening to escape the nagging of the second in command

Then the boss hen, Little Sister, let's me know what she thinks of my behavior

Askew tells Mary the sordid details

While the other girls gossip about the affair at the water fountain

Might be awhile before I'm invited back into the coop

Married to the old dude, 0 human kids, 2 horses, 10 cockatiels, 2 parakeets, 1 sun conure, 1 amazon parrot, 1 eccentric peacock, 1 gsd, 1 pet terrapin, 1 Blue Copper Maran rooster, and 14 world famous Jersey Giants!

Stan the Man will be missed.

That is easily one of the best looking roosters I have seen...Look at the comb and wattles on that fella. Beautiful!

Oh dear, I can see why they're jealous, he's very handsome! How old is he? I wonder when he'll start dominating them properly, as only a Rooster of Steele should.
