Pricing??

How does everyone price their hatching eggs? Sorry if posted in the wrong place couldnt figure out where to ask.

I don't sell but I have bought. Honestly it depends on the quality of the parent stock and the demand for the breed. Pet quality/hatchery stock parents tend to be either $1 or $2 an egg here. Well bred birds from a reputable breeder can go $3+ per egg.
3 royally spoiled cats, 5 very spoiled hens; 1 exceedingly tolerant DH and a beautiful toddling boy!

And in demand eggs 8 dollars or more! (I'm paying through the nose for some cream legbars. I hope i hope i hope they arrive safe and sound!!!)

Being newfoundland here,most just have  barn yard mutts. But PB are starting to show now, I have OEGB laying like crazy and my fertilty rate seems to be 13 out of 14 on our first test run.
