These sweeties are my favorite... I am weird.
This is a great thread, and although we are all heartbroken for Aoxa, we don't need to let this thread become another casualty. SO... Here are some "Just For Fun" shots I did with my chicks yesterday while my internet was down.

HA! this one is just hilarious!

I only just stumbled on this thread. I must say that all the pics are just great. Some times I do not want to read much and just enjoy flipping pictures.

Aoxa... Wow, I am so very sorry to read of your tragedy. I can not imagine. I don't want to imagine. If I could I would gladly give what I could to help you rebuild, but I think I need to be certified before I could transport/ship eggs to Canada...

I love these BDM. Beautiful.

The second to last chick is my favourite <3

That is one of our Silcochins (Silkie x Bantam Cochin). They are unbelievably cute and I can't wait to see what they look like when they grow up. No matter what they look like, I'm sure the hens will make great incubators! Their mom is currently sitting on 4 Swedish Flower Hen eggs.

And more HUGS!

I am so sorry to hear about what has happened and all that you are going through. I am praying for you and your family. Take one day at a time and remember to just breathe!
Best wishes
Charlotte

Love the toilet picture! Where did you find your props?

They look like they're dollhouse sized furniture.

This is Misty being groomed by lonely hen

. She's come to love it and lays down wherever the hen is and awaits her admirer LOL.

The furniture is large-size doll furniture - like the size they sell for Barbie dolls... and our house is swimming in Barbie dolls - LOL! Worked out as the perfect size for the chicks!

That is too cute!

I don't think I've ever posted this picture here.
These were two of my first silkies ever! Curly and Mo. I also had two black hens back then....late summer of 2010. That's how it all started. lol Curly turned out to be a boy, Mo a girl. I still have Curly. Mo was eaten by a chicken hawk.

I was going to say they look lost and are trying to decide which way to go, but it might be more like they hear some one making a ruckus but can't see them or quite understand what it is to me...lol. Cute picture! Sorry to hear about Mo!....that sucks!
