Gold Laced Orpington- For Learning and Sharing

Thanks Corancher. I figured it would take a long time. I live in Australia and i honestly haven't seen anyone at all with GL orps. The Australian Orpington club website says its in development. I like the idea of having a project to work at haha even though it would be hard to have the patience

Hello experts :) i have another question. I know there aren't many places with gold laced orpingtons in the standards. But i was wondering what leg colour would be preferred? Am i right to say most GL orps have a slate/blue leg colour? I wasnt sure if yellow would be the preferred colour?
Thanks

My GLOs have whitish pink legs. Yellow skin on an Orpington is undesirable.

Ok thank you. From my research, if i cross a gold laced wyandotte with a partridge orpington(closest genetics i can get to the gold laced) i will still end up with all dark legs with white soles as im pretty sure the orpington is E genetics. So i guess i will stick with that leg colour. Time will tell if i am correct
