Look for your state thread here: http://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you  and ask your locals. I'm sure they will be able to help you.

Hi Knitchick frow.gif

I am in Chesapeake too! If you want some chicks I will have some Australorps chicks (pullets) on Friday.

I wound up going to EPPS Farm Supply. I got 2- Buff Orpingtons ('Penny' and 'Bernie'), 2- Silver Laced Wyandottes ('Lacey' and 'Katniss') and 1- Black Austrolaup ('Amy-Farrah-Fowler'....all one name).

My friend also got us an Easter Egger....which should be here this week.

We are loving the 'girls'. Bernie has adopted me and hops out of her brooder/cage and onto me when I open it up. She likes to snuggle.

Thanks for being fulll of info....I am glad I found you all!

That's sounds great! FYI if one of them does turn out to be a male, they said they would take them back and find a home for them. I'm starting to have concerns about one of mine, so that helped put my mind at ease since we can't have roosters
