PVC Feeder

I've tried to use covers for my PVC feeder and it always seems to get wet. Mine can be filled from outside of the run but dispenses inside the covered run so it stays dry.
I have an inside one with a cap outside as well (tractor coop )and the feed will get wet but I didnt seal it maybe thats it
Getting some sealer today Hope that does the trick
Mine wont eat wet feed.

i might have to try this i have 22 different pens. might take a little to build them all but think it might save time in the long run

Ok! I will take back all the %%$$#@ pipe I bought that won't fit together anyway and purchase stuff for this. It never occurred to me to go to their sewer section! Sheesh...I so want to put this into my new coop for the space it will provide. If it works I will make two more for our other two coops..right now I must finish coop #3 as those pullets are getting too big to remain squished together in a coop for 7 and there are 16 in there!! We just had to have another "few" girls to replace our summer group that were taken by predators, and heat. We so love the look of those Spitzhaubens, So we bought all four they had! Got a few splash Americanas and Splash Wyandotte and well I am sure you get it...so out of control!! Building is so much fun, but now it is raining! We so rarely get rain it is welcome, but no roof no doors and roosts are in shop waiting install. Buggers I need help to finish. Thank you for this idea, I can do it tomorrow for sure!
