Natural pesticides and weed killers

Hello,

Has anyone tried EcoSMART Organic Insect Killer for Lawns?

We have a serious deer tick problem. My chickens free range during the day so I hate to put anything down that might hurt them but I have to do something about the deer ticks. One of the reasons we got chickens was to help with the ticks, they have done well with the larger ticks but the deer ticks are just too small. This is the first year I have not treated the yard for ticks, prior to treating the yard we had a young child with Lyme and two dogs with repeated Anaplasmosis infections. When we decided to get chickens we wanted to free range them so we could stop using chemicals. Now, I am literally picking deer ticks off my chickens faces (and my family) on a daily basis. If anyone has used the EcoSmart in the past, or has any other suggestions, please let me know.

Thank you!

PS: Guinea Hens are not an option where we live.

Neem oil. Cold pressed, not clarified... I only use it if I HAVE to, but I'm organic, so I usually don't need ABY pesticide, my beneficials eat very well here and have permanent residence ;)

But Neem oil, 100%.

Corn gluten for weed stop. The only thing I have in my arsenal to combat bindweed without having to cover crop.

Avenger and Scythe get used in commercial fields.

I read all responses regarding vinegar, epsom salts etc weed spray and still cannot find the answer:

IS THIS SPRAY SAFE FOR MY RESCUED CHICKENS?

Thank you.
