A fellow farmer friend of mine heard about some chickens abandoned alongside of a logging road. They were there for probibly 3 days in 3 feet of snow and below 0 temperatures, no shelter. There were 6, 2 died. She rescued them to her basement. They are eating, but one is wheezing pretty bad, and they smell terrible. What's the best course of action to help these girls? What kind of a person does something like that?
