Selling Eggs In Texas

Does anyone know if I can put out a sign by the road, in the state of Texas, that says: "Farm Fresh Eggs For Sale"?

There were some recent comments on the Texas Thread (Social/Where Am I) about selling eggs. 

mostly patient husband who has promised I can keep chickens when I retire - YESSSSS, one spirited horse and four enthusiastic cavaliers. PS the Brinsea Mini Advanced was delivered from Amazon so the egg will come first!
