i really need some help please!!!!

10 day old duckling,everything has been fine untill today..she hurt her leg and was still getting up and running around.she eats and drinks great.a couple hours ago she is really having a hard time walking or standing.she is panting or breathing so heavy.i am not sure exactly what i am checking for on her leg ..i don't know what to do...

When you say she hurt her leg do you mean she has a wound? it maybe infected, does it look swollen or feel hot to the touch? if so that could be infection, then you would need antibiotics. please post back with more info and also what your feeding, temp in brooder what kind of set up you have, basic questions that can help so much. even breed of duckling. Do you have any kind of vitamins and or electrolytes for poultry?

Get her into a bath that is deep enough to float in, 85 degrees F, watch her closely. See if and how she moves her legs. Don't have her in there more than five minutes or so, since she's not fully feathered.
